SHELL Art-TILE GROUT MIRROR-Just for fun. :-)

MY SISTER AMBER SHOWED ME HOW TO USE GROUT AND LOOSE OBJECTS TO DECORATE
A SURFACE.

THIS WAS A OLD WOOD MIRROR I COVERED WITH SHELLS ONE WEEKEND.

ITS FUN TO GET LIGHT SWITCH COVERS AND DECORATE THEM TOO.

Directions: One quart of  tile grout.. pre-mixed from the store.
A plastic butter knife. A rag and an old plastic container with water.
News paper to cover the work area so you don't mess up your table top.

Find something that needs a make-over like a bland picture frame. Hunt for small found objects of your liking. Rocks, shells, marbles,  bottle caps etc., will work great.

Open the container of grout and get a glob on your plastic knife and spread the grout over the picture frame like peanut butter on bread. Make sure that the grout is evenly spread over the surface about  1/4 of an inch thick.

Press the small objects into the grout to make it stick. Be creative with pattern and placement because anything goes when its all for the fun of it! Just make sure you have time and music playing so you can sing while your sticking "small stuff " on goop.

Let your picture frame dry for a day before messing with it.
